My condolences to Kathy and Joe's family. This is May 31, 2019 and I am sorry for being so late. Since I live in South Carolina news doesn't travel this far from Oklahoma.
I knew Joe when he was the Chief and before. He was a good friend. I ask our Heavenly Father to keep Joe close as a body-guard. May Joe RIP and may his earthly family keep his memories in tact and know that he is in Heaven with Jesus.

Joe was a fine man and a good friend. I liked him a lot. We both liked guns so naturally we had something to talk about. I still have a gun that I bought from him. It is a prized possession of mine, just cause it had once belonged to Joe. Joe was true blue. I will miss him and know that he is at peace. My deepest sympathies to Kathy and the rest of the family. I think the best tribute a man can receive after his passing is for someone to say, " He was a good man" and Joe was definitely that man. With deepest respects Don Britton.
