Obituary of Sharon Thurman

Sharon Thurman, 65, passed from this life March 12, 2019 in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Sharon was born July 23, 1953 in Hugo, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Truman and Louise (Wilson) Byrne.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Wayne Thurman.

Sharon was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Idabel, Oklahoma. Sharon served her country in the United States Air Force. 

Sharon is survived by one son; Mike Godberson and wife Stacy, grandchildren; Gage, Gavin, and Insley Godberson, step grandchildren; Holt, Bella and Baylor Wilson all of Pawnee, Oklahoma, sister and brother in law Gaile and Jim Dillard of Idabel, Oklahoma, one step son; Michael Thurman and granddaughter Allison Thurman of Alvord, Texas. Very special friends Holly LeForce, Robin Dommey of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Sharon Bivings and Karen Plunk of Idabel, Oklahoma, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Mondaym March 18, 2019 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the Redland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the funeral home.
