Obituary of Betty Howard

Betty Howard, 70, of Idabel, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007 in Idabel. She was born January 13, 1937 in Milburn, Oklahoma, the daughter of Homer and Thursie Diggs Howard. Betty loved visiting with people especially her friends and family. She enjoyed playing dominoes, and going to garage sales. Betty had lived the last few years at the Rouleau House where she met many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Stewart; and brothers, James Howard and Edward Lee Howard. Betty is survived by a sister-in-law, LaVerne Howard Willis of the Cisco Community; nieces and their husbands, Sherry and Bryan Clay of Idabel, Vicki and Wendell Boozer of Texarkana, Texas, Mary Lou and Mitch Hunter of Idabel, Donna and Mack Rhoades of Seagoville, Texas; nephews and their wives, Jimmy and Sandy Howard, and Bobby and Reba Howard, all of Idabel, many other relatives and a host of friends.
