Obituary of Mike Sharp

Mike Sharp, 46, of Idabel, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2007 at Paris. He was born June 5, 1961 at Idabel, the son of Jimmy and Dimple Whitten Sharp. Mike was accomplished welder, and he enjoyed making sculptures using his ability as a welder. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mike was affiliated with the Baptist Faith and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Sharp; maternal grandparents, Milton and Myrtle Whitten; paternal grandparents, Claude L. and Marie Sharp. Mike is survived by his mother, Dimple Whitten Sharp of Idabel; daughters and son-in-law, Jessica Michelle Sharp of Tulsa, Jamie Lynn and Jared Marable of Tulsa, Toni Sharp of Nebraska, and Cheviane Sharp of Texas; a son, Shane Alexander Sharp of Idabel; sisters and brother-in-law, Sherri` and Dee Bushers of Idabel, and Lisa Jordan of Idabel; nephews, Danny Jordan, Eric Carper, and Jared Jordan all of Idabel; a niece, Kisha Carper of Idabel; several other relatives, and a host of friends.
