Obituary of Wanda Scott
Wanda Scott, age 79, of Idabel, OK passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Idabel. She was born on December 4, 1938 in Hugo, CO, the daughter of William Dan Huddleston and Edith Estes Wineinger Huddleston.
Wanda met John Marion “Vester” Scott while the two were attending college at San Diego State in California. They were married on July 19, 1958 and resided in Crest, CA. In 1972 the family moved to the Redland Community. Wanda worked various jobs and enjoyed family time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Marion “Vester” Scott, Jr.; parents, William and Edith Huddleston of El Centro, CA; brothers and sisters, Ronnie Huddleston of CA, Lula Lee Strand of CO, Frank Huddleston of CO, Joy Huddleston of OK, and Darrell Huddleston of CA.
Wanda is survived by her brother, Danny K. Huddleston of Idabel, OK; two sons, Colin R. Scott and wife Sharon of Shreveport, LA, K. Mark Scott and wife Mandi of Idabel, OK; eight grandchildren, Micheal R. Scott and wife Maria of Shreveport, LA, Leigh Erin Long and husband Jeremy of Shreveport, LA, Jonah R. Scott of Idabel, OK, Stormy Cotton of McAlester, OK, Tara Harwell of Briemen, GA, Tiffany Kaiser of New Iberia, LA, Amber Prince of New Iberia, LA, and Cortney Perkins of Waskom, TX; 14 great-grandchildren; and lifelong best friend, Aline Satterfield of McAlester, OK.
