Obituary of Jimmy Ray Washington

          Jimmy “Jim Ray” Washington, 75, of Idabel, OK passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at one of his favorite places besides the diner, Wal-Mart.

           He was born on May 24, 1943 to Emma Washington and Anderson Ward and graduated from Chilocco in 1964.  Jim Ray was a veteran of the National Guard.  He worked occupations in his lifetime which included, construction, lawn care, truck driver and custodian.  His favorite hobby was Auto Mechanics.

            He was preceded in death by his parents.

            Jim Ray is survived by daughters, Janette Washington-Allen and George of Colbert, OK, Kelly Washington and Kimberly Kaniatobe of Ada, OK; grandchildren, Nikki Crossland, Autumn Hopkins, Kody Kaniatobe, Zac Short, Brandon Short and Chance Short; great-grandchildren, Eisley Hopkins, Olivia Crossland, Dylan Crossland and Drew Crossland; several other relatives and a host of friends.

            Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the White Family Chapel. Interment will follow at the Kulli Tuklo Cemetery.
