Obituary of Billy Ray Coffman, Jr.

Billy Ray Coffman Jr., age 59 of Idabel, OK passed away on, Monday, July 2, 2018 at Idabel. He was born on August 19, 1958 in Idabel, OK, the son of Billy Ray Coffman Sr. and Annie Ruth Stephens Coffman. Jr. was a 1976 graduate of Idabel Gray High School.

Jr. was a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He was a stuntman in Dallas, TX and once got to play a part in a Sam Shepherd movie called "Ruffian" and very much enjoyed it. He was affiliated with the Faith Christian Center in Broken Bow and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.

He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, George and Geneva Coffman; and his maternal grandparents, Johnny and Mary Stephens.

Jr. is survived by his son, Jared Coffman of Gonzales, TX; daughters, Breanna Coffman of Broken Bow, OK and Jordan Coffman of Idabel, OK; a brother, Stewart Coffman of Idabel, OK; sisters, Terri Gragg of Broken Bow, OK and Paula Tunnell and Tony of the Moon Community, OK; grandchildren, Kaysen Grant and Kennedy Coffman; a special friend, Savannah Smith of Broken Bow, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the White Family Chapel, the family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 am prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery with Bro. Chuck Darby officiating.
