Obituary of Floyd Ray Dixon
On Friday night, June 15, 2018, Floyd Ray Dixon was called home.
Floyd Ray Dixon was born January 24, 1997 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital the son of Timothy and Leatrice Dixon, of Idabel. Floyd joined Spring Hill Baptist Church in Idabel at an early age until the age of seven when they moved to Vernon, TX where he attended school and graduated from Texas in 2015. After school he attended the Community College in Texas for three years taking up computer graphics. In Floyd’s spare time he loved playing his video games and listening to his music and eating pasta.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Berdia Fleeks, Darnell Dixon, Paul McGee; step-grandmother, Rosetta McGee and his uncles, Rickey and Floyd Dixon.
Floyd leaves to cherish his memories his father and mother, Timothy and Leatrice Dixon of Vernon, TX; his grandparents, McArthur and Doris Dixon of Wright City, OK; two sisters, Tabrsha Bryant of Dallas, TX and Veree Warren of Vernon, TX; four brothers, DeQuante Dixon and Leon Merritt of Idabel, OK and Brandon Bryant of Gainesville, TX, Robert Battle of Vernon, TX, a host of nieces, nephews, an Auntie and Uncles; his 85 year old grandmother, Helen Tucker, and a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to thank you for all the text messages, phone calls and visits.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Springhill Baptist Church.
