Obituary of Sue Johnson

Sue Johnson, age 73 of Moon, OK passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Paris, TX. She was born on September 2, 1944 in Idabel, OK.

Sue worked in the Haworth School Cafeteria for 26 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and quilting. Sue was a wonderful cook and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was  a member of the Haworth Church of Christ and was a lifetime resident of the area.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Horn; her husband, Tim Johnson; 2 infant children; brothers, Bob Jenkins, Kenneth Jenkins, Buck Horn and Bo Horn.

Sue is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Danell Johnson of Moon, OK; grandchildren, Sarah Johnson and Tanya Johnson of Moon, OK; father, NG Austin and Shirley of Durant, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Mike Horn and Chris of Moon, OK; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois Sullivan and Dale of Haworth, OK, Kathy Provence and Rocky of Moon, OK, Faye Proctor and Georgie Tunnell; special caregiver and friend, Vada Green and Butch of Moon, OK;  several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Haworth Church of Christ with Aubrey Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at the Bokhoma Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the funeral home.
