Obituary of Curits Wayne Lewis

Curtis Wayne Lewis, age 77 of Idabel, OK passed away on, Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Idabel. He was born on November 26, 1940 in Garvin, OK, the son of Clarence and Georgia Mae Rolen Lewis.

Curtis owned and operated the Gulf Service Station on HWY 70 for several years. He and his family attended Regional Church for several years, where he had a passion for the Christmas Drive Through and worked tirelessly to help make it a success. In his younger years he enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family.

Curtis was a devoted son and always had a special love for his mother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Lewis;  a brother, Altus Lewis; and a brother-in-law, Butch Castleman.

Curtis is survived by his mother, Georgia Lewis of Idabel, OK; daughters, Donna Calhoun of New Mexico, Pamela Shaw of Colorado, Sheila Jones of Idabel, OK and Brianne Lewis of New Hampshire; sons, Michael Lewis of New Mexico and Kyle Lewis of New Hampshire; brothers, Harold Lewis and Alene and Clarence Lewis and Rose all of Idabel, OK; a sister, Bobbie Castleman of Hobbs, NM; a sister-in-law, Wanda Lewis of Idabel, OK; 8 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
