Obituary of Tommie Jo Mooney

     Tommie Jo Mooney, age 85, of Idabel, OK passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Idabel. She was born on October 31, 1932 in Hawkins, TX, the daughter of Sherman George Turner and Martha Alta Hammond. 

            Tommie was a homemaker loved spending time with her family. She married Ray Mooney on November10, 1961, in Wood County Texas. 

            She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ray Mooney; daughter, Loretta Mooney; son, Phillip Mooney; sisters, Hazel Ima Love Edwards and Genois Colene Turner Williams. 

            Tommie is survived by; her sons, Anthony “Tony” Mooney of Idabel, OK and Alan Raymond Mooney of Idabel, Ok; brother, Jack Dan Turner and wife, Ima Lou of Hawkins, TX grandchildren, Shawn Ray Mooney, Evan Wyatt, Cristina and Carlos Aguero, Jessica Wyatt and Mark Whitten and Dawn Elaine Mooney; many great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. 

            The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm preceding the service on Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 at the funeral home. 

            Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery.
