Obituary of June Rogers

           June Rogers, age 70, of Idabel, OK passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Idabel. She was born on November 18, 1947 in Russellville, AR, the daughter of James Edward Rogers and Lorene Coffman Rogers.

            June was a homemaker and had worked at Wal Mart for over 15 years. She enjoyed crocheting and loved spending time with her friends and family. June was a member of Grace Assembly Church and was very active in the women's jail ministry.

            She was preceded in death by parents; and a daughter, Lenora Raymond.

            June is survived by her daughter, Sonyea Briggs of Idabel, OK; son-in-law, Billy Raymond of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Catrina WIlliams of Idabel, OK, Billy Wayne Raymond of Idabel, OK and Aaron Raymond of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Treadwell, Evan Williams, Chris Williams, Kenley Raymond and Tyson Raymond; sisters, Frances Perkins and Alice Bass both of Texas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

            The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the funeral home.

            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Grace Assembly Church in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the Holly Creek Cemetery with Bro. Kyle Jordan officiating.
