Obituary of Jimmy Stocks

Jimmy “Andy” Stocks, age 45, of Idabel, passed away September 6, 2007. He was born in Altus, Oklahoma on March 20, 1962 to Vernon Louis Stocks. He lived in Altus until his family moved to Idabel in 1969. On May 5, 1984 he married Karen Jennings at Shutlz. Andy was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Another hobby of his was collecting baseball cards and coins. He worked as a carpenter and painter for the last ten years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, an aunt and a cousin. Andy is survived by his wife, Karen Jennings Stocks; sons, Christopher and Elvin Jerrod Stocks all of the home; mother, Vernon Louis Stocks of Idabel; brothers and sister-in-law, Herby Stocks of Idabel and Jerry and Tina Stocks of Durant; granddaughter, Jenesis Stocks; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elvin and Bonnie Jennings of Arkadelphia, AR; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
