Obituary of Charles Davis
Charles J. Davis, age 77 passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home in Tom, OK. He was born on March 12, 1940 in Tom, OK the son of Herman and Margie Louise Lee Davis. He graduated from Tom High School in 1959.
Charles worked in carpentry in the Dallas area for several years. He enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends and family. Charles really like working on lawn mowers and his real passion was arts and crafts, especially yard art.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Evelyn; sons, Harold Davis, Ray Davis, Billy Dale Davis and Sammy Davis; a brother, Calvin Davis; and a sister, Kathleen Sturgeon.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Chuck Davis of Foreman, AR and Dave Davis of Foreman, AR; daughters, Christine Davis of Johnson City, TN, Penny Gardner of Foreman, AR and Lashawn Lambert of Eufaula, OK; special sister-in-law and caregiver, Linda Davis of Tom, OK; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A private memorial service is being planned for a later date.
