Obituary of Judy Carrol Laney

Judy Laney, age 58 of Idabel passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Paris, TX. She was born March 2, 1952 in Hale Center, TX. She married Wiley Laney in Hugo, OK on April 5, 1978. Judy was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had worked at Memorial Heights Nursing Home for several years. She had an out going personality and that allowed her to make many friends. Judy enjoyed camping and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, was affiliated with the Truth Tabernacle Church in Idabel and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Totty; brother, Billy Totty; and mother-in-law, Estelle Laney. Judy is survived by her mother, Auddie Totty of Hugo; her husband, Wiley Laney of Idabel; son and daughter-in-law, John and Brenda Pigg of Guthrie, OK; daughters and sons-in-law, Mechelle and Larry Gray of Idabel and Donnita and James Stamper of Temple, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Cindy Totty of Texas City, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Wesley Hess of Noble, OK; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Sue Laney of Garland, TX; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the White Family Chapel with Rev. Don Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, P.O.
