Obituary of Paul Dewayne Citty

Jesus said, let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you, and I will come and take you to be with me, so that where I am you may be also. John 14: 1-3. On Saturday, November 27, 2010 Jesus fulfilled His promise and took Paul home to be with Him, for all eternity. Paul Dewayne Citty was born on December30, 1939 in the Redland Community, OK, the son of Lex and Nancy Irene Bozarth Citty. After graduation from Haworth High School in 1958, Paul went to work pipelining for T.E. Davis for several years. In 1965 he began working for Ford Motor Co. While living in Dallas he met and married Deanie Bowen on August 6, 1966 at Yuba, OK. In 1970 Paul moved back to the place he loved most, the Redland Community where he spent the rest of his life. Paul worked for Weyco for 30 years. He was a member of the Redland Methodist Church. Paul was a Master Mason and a member of the Goodwater Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and taking care of his cattle, but his greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Paul leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Deanie Citty of their home; daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Keith Fluellen and their children, Taylor and Joshua all of Bellevue, NE; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Kristy Citty and their children, Chandler, Braylyn and Shaylyn all of Broken Bow; brothers, Jerry Citty of Idabel, Jack Citty and wife Melveda of Haworth and Steve Citty and wife Linda of Burleson, TX; a sister, Gail Nichols and husband Louis of Idabel; aunts, Norma Bozarth Gordon and Alene Jones Citty both of Idabel; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Interment will follow at Redland Cemetery in the Redland Community. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2010 at the funeral home.
