Obituary of Pat Donaldson

Pat Donaldson, 64, of Idabel passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at her residence in Idabel. She was born on January 15, 1946 in Idabel. Pat married James Donaldson in Idabel on May 24, 1963. Pat cleaned houses and offices for several years and was highly respected for her work. She enjoyed woodworking and had a shop at her home where she made cedar chests, swings and rocking chairs. Pat was a member of the Haworth First Assembly of God Church and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her family was most important to her and she always put them first. Pat loved her grandchildren and spent as much time with them as she could. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rena Creech; brothers, Harvey Creech, Arie Creech, Dewey Creech and Willard Creech; and a sister, Mildred Jean Creech. Pat is survived by her husband, James Donaldson of Idabel; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Karla Donaldson of Idabel and Keith and Karen Donaldson of the Goodwater Community; grandchildren, Taylor Donaldson and Rachel Donaldson, both of Idabel, and Kolt and Kyler Donaldson, both of the Goodwater Community; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed and Isabelle Creech of Poteau, OK, and J.T. and Frances Creech of Hochatown; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Raymond of Idabel and Virginia and Hollis White of the Oak Hill Community; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be Friday, October 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Haworth First Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at the Hollycreek Cemetery with Bro. Jason Smith and Bro. Horton McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the funeral home.
