Obituary of Bob Iglehart

Bob Iglehart, age 76, longtime Idabel resident and businessman passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Plano, TX. He was born May 10, 1934 in Choctaw County, the son of James and Georgia Black Iglehart. He married Cecile Harp in Antlers on April 10, 1974. Bob was a 1953 graduate of Idabel High School. He started driving a truck at 15 hauling cucumbers then hauled propane for several years. He later bought a café in Idabel called “Bob’s Drive Inn” which he operated for several years. In 1974, he became an insurance agent at Sooner Insurance of Idabel until he retired in 1995. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Idabel. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and church family. Bob also enjoyed the trips he took to Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bob is survived by his wife, Cecile Iglehart of Paris, TX; daughters and son-in-law, Deborah Iglehart of Chickasha, OK and Gina and DeWayne Brown of The Colony, TX; sons and daughter-in-law, James and Brenda Iglehart, Mike Iglehart and Clarke Iglehart, all of Idabel; a step-son and his wife, Barry and Cindy Frazier of Roxton, TX; step-daughter, Elaine Burks of Broken Bow; granddaughters, Chelsea Iglehart, Channing Iglehart, Stephanie Burks Iglehart, Kelsey Frazier and Jenna Maynard; grandsons, John Michael Iglehart, Trae Iglehart, Peyton Iglehart, Clint Brown, Kris Knox, Justin Frazier, B.J. Mullens, Brent Mullens, Holly Starr, Andrew Burris, and Maxine Dixon; great-grandchildren, Ivey Knox, Ryland Jackson, Ethan Maynard, Brayden Maynard, Cole Mattern, Gage Norman, Luke Norman, and Kylie Freeman; brother, John Paul Iglehart of Houston, TX; sisters and brother-in-law, Sue Helm of Edmond, OK and Joann and Tommy Richardson of Chickasha, OK; sister-in-law, Nora Ryles of Clarksville, TX; several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Idabel with Bro. Tommy Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Denison Cemetery in Idabel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2010 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church in Idabel.
