Obituary of Betty Lou Daniels

Betty Daniels, age 66 of Valliant, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Idabel. She was born on January 12, 1944 at Garvin. She was of the Baptist faith. Betty was a Home Health worker. She was Activity Director of Colonial Lodge for 5 years, and then worked for Donaldson’s Home Health. She worked for Healthback for 14 years where she retired in November of 2008. She had such a great love for people, caring deeply for her patients. Her patients appreciated her so much and they even had published in the McCurtain Gazette what a blessing she was to them. Betty was a special loving mother and wife and was very devoted to her family. They were her greatest joy. She loved fishing, camping, cooking and keeping a clean house. An avid racing fan, Betty was her husband’s and son’s number one fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Juanita Edwards and her husband, Danny Daniels. Betty is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Laura Daniels of Oklahoma City, OK and Danny Ray Daniels of Valliant; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Windle Randle of Valliant and Sandra and Tony Batchelor of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Jessie Daniels, Shelby Daniels, Taylor Daniels, Melissa Elliott and Tiffany Daniels; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Valliant with Bro. Mike Mings and Bro. Don Batchelor officiating. Interment will follow at the Rock Hill Cemetery in the Holly Creek Community. The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Daniels.
