David and Carlene White who founded White Family Funeral Home, still operate the funeral home today. David was born and raised in Altus, Oklahoma and Carlene is native to McCurtain County. They were married in 1997. David attended Oklahoma State University and the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. Carlene is a graduate of McCurtain Christian Academy and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He enjoys gardening, golf, and is an avid sports fan. Carlene enjoys reading, shopping, and singing. They both enjoy traveling and scuba diving. David and Carlene are very active in their community. David serves on several boards and they are members of various civic organizations. They are members of the First United Methodist Church in Idabel.
