Obituary of Dale Sullivan

    Dale Sullivan, age 82 passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019 at his home in Haworth, OK. He was born on April 14, 1937 in Haworth, OK, the son of Russell and Jewell Lawler Sullivan. He was a 1956 graduate of Haworth High School. Dale married his wife, Lois on July 28, 1980 in Haworth, OK.

    Dale was a retired pipeliner. He enjoyed riding his 4 wheeler and traveling. Dale was a member of the Haworth Church of Christ and a lifetime resident of Haworth.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Scott "Rex" Wright; brothers, Junior Sullivan, Ray Sullivan and Jerry Sullivan.

    Dale is survived by his wife, Lois Sullivan of the home; daughter, Vickie Wright of DeKalb, TX; sons, Randy Wright of Benton, LA and Matthew "Chico" Sullivan of Durant, OK; granddaughter, Laurie Pinson of Baton Rouge, LA; grandsons, Timothy Clark of Shreveport, LA, Caleb Sullivan, Austin Sullivan and  Logan Sullivan all of Durant, OK; brothers, Donnie Sullivan of Valliant, OK and Eddie Sullivan of Haworth, OK; special nephew, Timothy Wayne Johnson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

    Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Haworth Church of Christ with Aubrey Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the funeral home.
