Obituary of Everett D. Going

Everett D Going, age 63 of Santa Fe, NM passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Santa Fe, NM. He was born on August 9, 1955 in Fairview, NM, the son of Willie M Going and Mary Magdalene Billy Going. 

    Everett was a veteran of the US Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was talented at wood crafting and enjoyed playing pool and reading western novels. Everett was a member of the Fellowship Church in Santa Fe and had lived there for the last year moving from Hugo, OK.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margie Going; and brothers, Gilbert Ray Going and Willie Edward Going. 

    Everett is survived by his son, Gabriel Going of Santa Fe, NM; step-daughter, Genna Melendez of Idabel, OK; step-granddaughter, Zachri Eaton of North Carolina; a brother, Harold Going of Ada, OK; sisters, Eula Lufkin of Ada, OK, Elsie Kuziel and Frank of Placitas, NM, Lura Allen and Greg of Idabel, OK and Miquela Pinion and Steve of Ardmore, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery.

    Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the funeral home.
