Obituary of Dorothy Lou Taylor

            Dorothy Lou Taylor, age 75, long time Tom, OK resident passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Broken Bow, OK. She was born on December 22, 1943 in Ashdown, AR, the daughter of Ervin and Lucille Bishop Dickerson.

            Dorothy worked as a CNA for many years at the McCurtain Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed gardening and canning. Dorothy cherished her family and loved spending time with them. She was a member of the Haworth Assembly of God Church and a lifetime McCurtain County resident.

            She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Buddy Dickerson.

            Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Tracey Martin and Steve of Tom, OK; son, Richard Lamb Jr. and Karen of Idabel, OK; sisters, Judith Ridge of Haworth, OK and Ann Robinson of Rogers, AR; grandchildren, Kelsie Martin, Jake Martin, Tyler Martin, Jared Lamb, Tanner Lamb and Noah Lamb; a great-grandchild, Caroline Martin; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

            Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Tom Cemetery with Pastor Mark Davidson officiating.
