Obituary of Douglas Glenn Graham Jr.

Douglas Glenn Graham Jr., age 73 of Garvin, OK passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2018 at Paris, TX. He was born on December 19, 1945 in Garvin, OK, the son of Douglas Glenn Graham Sr. and Elizabeth Giddens Graham.

Jr. retired from the City of Idabel Street Dept. where he was a heavy equipment operator for many years. He also had worked in the log woods with Bill Jennings for a few years. An avid coon hunter he also enjoyed deer hunting and taking care of his dogs and cattle. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann Wheeler Graham; the mother of his children, Carol Bauch; a daughter, Sherry Johnson; a brother, Pat Graham; and his sister, Judy Graham.

Jr. is survived by his son, Douglas Glenn Graham III and Georgia of Lane, OK; daughter, Nancy K Graham and her companion, Dwaine Diemer of Garvin, OK; step-children, Carolyn White and Eddie of Idabel, OK, Sandra Jackson and Bruce of Lockesburg, AR, Alan Cobb and Connie of Lakeside, AZ and Phillip Cobb of Idabel, OK; brothers, Joe Graham and Delana of Valliant, OK, Ike Graham of Idabel, OK, Eddie Graham of Garvin, OK, Gerald Graham and Carol of Garvin, OK, Bobby Graham and Margaret of Garvin, OK, Dewey Graham and Debbie of Valliant, OK and Max Graham of Garvin, OK; sisters, Sue Nichols and Glen of  Negley, TX, Delores Thompson of Garvin, OK and Carolyn Muller and George of Coffeyville, KS; his beloved dog, Tootle; special caregiver, Kelsey Humphrey; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the funeral home..

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Carolyn White officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
