Obituary of Mozell Hudson

Mozell Hudson, age 85 of Idabel, OK passed away Wednesday, March 14 in Paris, TX. She was born on January 21, 1933 in the Pollard Community, OK, the daughter of Gilbert and Myrtle Stout Hollingsworth. Mozell was a graduate of Hayworth High School. Mozell married the love of her life, Guinn Hudson in 1953.

Mozelle and Guinn raised their children, a daughter and four sons in Dumas, Texas. She was a homemaker who loved her family very much. Mozell and Guinn returned to Idabel to be the care givers to her mother. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Tom, Oklahoma, and a long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents ; husband, Guinn Hudson; a daughter, Sharon Kay; and three sons, Dwight Hudson, Joe Hudson, and Tim Hudson.

Mozell is survived by her son Phillip & Susan Hudson of Dumas, Texas; grandchildren, Beth Burns, Amy Land, Sandy Jones, Randy Diaz, Jason Knie, Joey Hudson, Tammy Myers, Melissa Wilborn, Miranda Mergel, Diedre Hudson, Ashley Bryan, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Special thanks to her daughter-in-law, Mary Hudson, for the loving care that was given to Mozell.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held at 4:30 pm on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Pollard Cemetery with Bro. Miles Wesner.
