Obituary of Earlene Ebert

Earlene Ebert, age 90 passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 at her home in the Union Grove Community, OK. Earlene was born on November 3, 1927 in Tom, OK, the daughter of Earl and Vivian Gurley Cox. She was a graduate of Haworth High School.

Earlene was a homemaker and a wonderful cook. She worked as a teacher's aide and managed the cafeteria at Haworth Schools for several years. Earlene was an avid gardener and had planted many trees around her home. She enjoyed word search puzzles and quilting. She made over 100 quilts in which she gave away to family and friends. 

Earlene's greatest joy was her family and she loved spending time with them. She was a devout Christian and her family rejoices in knowing they will see her again.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Mose Ebert; a son, Michael Ebert; ; a grandson, Billy Aaron Stuart Jr.; and sisters, Margaret Cox and Lucile Gumm.

Earlene leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law, Allen and LaVerne Ebert of the Union Grove Community, OK; daughters and sons-in-law, Terry and Poteet Victory of Santa Fe, NM and Tracie and Randy Kent of Tom, OK; grandchildren, Stacey Ebert and Shelley, Clint Ebert and Ruth, Bucky Stuart, Kelli Phillips and Jeff, Kaysi Upton and Nathan, Klark Kent and Alex and Ashlei Hanks and Luke; great-grandchildren, Brett Stuart, Adriel Stuart, Rylan Hanks, Cason Ebert, Easton Ebert, Roman Phillips, Brycen Hanks, Molly Phillips, Kona Jack Upton and Avalei Rose Hanks; a sister, Norma Wilkinson of the Union Grove Community, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Haworth Assembly of God Church with Rev. Philip Snow and Rev. Mark Davidson officiating. Interment will follow at the Haworth Cemetery.
