Obituary of Eric Lane Wilson

            Eric Lane Wilson, age 56, of Idabel, OK passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Idabel. He was born on January 4, 1961 in Idabel. Lane was a 1979 graduate of Valliant High School. He married his wife, Charity on September 15, 2000 at DeQueen, AR.

            Lane worked in maintenance for Tyson Foods for over 30 years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. His favorite hobby was reloading ammo. Lane was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.

            Lane was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and loved spending time with his family.

            He was preceded in death by his father, I.K. Wilson; his mother, Sandra Sorrell Smith; and a brother, Ken Wilson.

            Lane is survived by his wife, Charity of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Erik Gregory Wilson and Yolanda of Broken Bow, OK; daughters and son-in-law, Molly Lewis and Brandon and Lainey Wilson all of Idabel, OK; his grandchildren, Jaxon Wilson, Lukas Wilson and Zander Lewis; brothers, Shayne Qualls and Eldon Smith Jr. both of Tulsa, OK; a sister, Donna Sue Smith of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
