Obituary of Jamie Washington

Jamie Washington, age 60, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born on March 14, 1957 in Idabel, OK, the son of George and Ruby Harley Washington.

            Jamie worked in maintenance for the Choctaw Nation. He enjoyed playing pool, fishing and back-roading with friends. Jamie was an avid OU Sooner fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and one of his favorite pastimes was singing along with Elvis Presley songs.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jamie Jason Washington; sister, Lacreata Billy; brother, J.R. Washington and his nephew, Justin Carterby.

            Jamie is survived by his wife, Verna of the home; son, Tyler Washington of Idabel, OK; daughters, LaJuanna Washington of Idabel, OK, Ursula Washington of Muskogee, OK and Lisa Wesley of Idabel, OK; brother, Glenn and Heather Washington of Idabel, OK; sister, Marthella Padron and Benito of Pittsburg, TX; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
